Tête-à-Tête 2009: A Continued Success Story for
the Ottawa-Gatineau Chapter
Tête-à-Tête 2009, the premier tradeshow for association leaders, meeting planners and business partners from the Ottawa-Gatineau Region once again exceeded all the expectations! This year's show at the Westin Ottawa featured 68 booths, 60 mini-booths and 64 tabletops and over 300 delegates
The event was launched with early-morning keynote, Jeremy Gutsche, a most engaging speaker who energized the audience with his presentation "Unlocking Cool".
The mid-morning educational session, "Managing a Changing Workforce", featured Dr. Linda Duxbury, Professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. Dr. Duxbury effectively used humour to engage the audience as she spoke about the formative influences shaping the different generations and the possible sources of generational conflict within the workforce.
